My dad put a scrapbook together for me.
It seemed a good idea to scan some of these
historical documents before they faded or
crumbled.

This must have been sometime between 4th and 6th grade.  My ears stuck out from wearing my baseball cap to bed.

Ah, the 70s.  High school senior picture... such a fashion plate!

Growing up in plays, here I was Tom Sawyer.

Few know that I invented the famous saying "I see dead people."

Always the inventor, here I delicately adjusted my Still Life of a Dead Chicken In Motion.

The newspaper photographer just happened to have a zoom lens on me at the moment I broke a vaulting pole.

I loved the pole vault... it was such a great sport.

Up, up, and awayyyy!

Wrestling was a lot of fun, too.  The long bus trips were spent telling crusty old jokes over and over.

High school football... grrrrr!

The high school football team.  I am trying to remember if we ever won a game.

The college track team.

My college pose.  Leather elbow patches on the sleeves... how fashionable!

Every guy needs to grow facial hair at least once.  I think it's a law or something.

Then sometimes we overdo the facial hair thing.

After a wild time at Johnny's bachelor party, I became Black Eyed Bill.

Intel days, where I learned about karaoke.
